London is a selfie-taker’s paradise so why not have some low-cost fun this January and go exploring?!
Here’s our guide to beating those January blues after an indulgent December and getting out & about without breaking the bank balance… anymore!
Tower Bridge
Head over to More London for your perfectly angled selfie with Tower Bridge. From here you’ll be able to see Butler’s Wharf Pier, the Gherkin, the Cheese Grater, The Shard and the Walkie Talkie; a very exciting area for a serial snapper!
The Shard
A View from The Shard is the highest point of London’s newest landmark and Europe’s tallest building. From sunrise to sunset, guests can enjoy the changing views of London’s skyline. Have you ever taken a selfie at 800ft above London?
Telephone Box
If you’re following our route along the Thames, you’ll find an iconic London red telephone booth at Hays Galleria. There’s only a couple dotted around London now so it would be rude to not take a selfie! Historically the colour red was chosen to make them easy to spot so hopefully you shouldn’t be searching for long…
Coca-Cola London Eye
Follow the River round and you will find the recently re-branded Coca-Cola London Eye. Take a selfie from inside the capsule and capture a great view of London’s skyline or take a selfie from the bank of the river at night-time and capture the whole illuminated wheel!
Big Ben
Last on our list for this area of the River Thames is Big Ben, London’s most popular selfie spot! The perfect spot to stand is Westminster Bridge for a close-up of this iconic clock-face. You’ll also be able to spot the London Eye from here and re-take that earlier selfie if you need to! We all know behind every selfie, there are 100’s of deleted/failed attempts!
Once you’ve got your selfies, don’t forget to share with us!
